Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
From time to time, senior management of Pioneer Energy Services (the “Company”) meets with groups of investors and business analysts. The slides attached to this report have been prepared in connection with management's participation in such meetings and participation in the Johnson Rice & Company 2015 Energy Conference on September 28, 2015. The slides provide an update on the Company's operations and certain recent developments, which among others, include the following:
Consolidated
In September, amended revolving credit facility to provide enhanced liquidity
Borrowing capacity reduced from $350 million to $300 million
Total consolidated leverage ratio steps up to 4.50 to 1.00 beginning in the fourth quarter of 2015 to a maximum of 5.50 to 1.00 as of the end of the second quarter of 2016 through the first quarter of 2017. The ratio will gradually decrease and return to 4.00 to 1.00 by the end of the first quarter of 2018 and thereafter.
Drilling
Quarter-to-date utilization through August was 50%; current utilization is 54%
In Colombia, three rigs currently working on term contracts
Well Servicing
Quarter-to-date utilization through August was 65% as compared to 73% in the prior quarter
Coiled Tubing
Quarter-to-date utilization through August was 23% as compared to 24% in the prior quarter
