Item 8.01  Other Events

On June 18, 2015, McEwen Mining Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors had declared an annual dividend of $0.01 per share on the common stock of the Company and on the exchangeable shares issued by its subsidiary, McEwen Mining – Minera Andes Acquisition Corp.  The first installment of the dividend in the amount of $0.005 per share will be paid on August 17, 2015 to shareholders of record on July 31, 2015.
