Item 8.01. Other Events.
On November 29, 2013, Net1 issued a press release which announced that the Constitutional Court of South Africa (“Constitutional Court”) ruled that the tender process followed by the South African Social Security Agency in awarding a contract to Net1’s wholly owned subsidiary Cash Paymaster Services (Proprietary) Limited was constitutionally invalid. However, the Constitutional Court suspended its declaration of invalidity pending determination of a just and equitable remedy. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1. A copy of the Constitutional Court judgment is attached as Exhibit 99.2.
