Item 8.01 Other Events.
On November 14, 2013, Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend to its shareholders. The quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per common share will be paid on December 20, 2013, to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 29, 2013. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
