In connection with meetings with investors and investment analysts on January 8, 2013, WPX Energy is reaffirming (1) its 2012 production goal of 1,380 million cubic feet equivalent average per day, and (2) its expectation for 2012 adjusted EBITDAX of $1 billion to $1.05 billion. WPX Energy expects its 2012 capital spending to approximate $1.5 billion, including amounts for land purchases in oil-focused properties.
