On June 13, 2012, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Lazard Ltd (“Lazard”) elected Richard D. Parsons to the Board. A copy of the press release announcing this information is being filed as exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference. Mr. Parsons was also elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Lazard Group LLC (the “Company”). After it completes its review and analysis, the Board plans to appoint Mr. Parsons to one or more committees of the Board, at which time the Company expects to file an amendment to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
