Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On August 22, 2018, Ms. Cathy C. Adams, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (the “Bank”), announced her retirement from the Bank, effective November 30, 2018. Ms. Adams was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer on March 1, 2011 and was named Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer in 2008. Previously, Ms. Adams served as Senior Vice President of Staff Services from 2004 through 2008. Ms. Adams joined the Bank in 1986.
