Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
On January 30, 2018, Oasis Petroleum Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the passing of director Ted Collins, Jr. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto. The Company extends its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Collins' family.
