ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
Citizens Financial Services, Inc. (the "Company") will hold its 2017 annual meeting of shareholders (the "Annual Meeting") to elect directors and to ratify the appoint of its independent registered public accounting firm on April 18, 2017.
The Annual Meeting will be held at the Tioga County Fairgrounds Main Building, 2258 Charleston Road, Wellsboro, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 12:00 noon, local time.
Record holders of the Company's common stock at the close of business on February 27, 2017 will be entitled to receive notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting.
