ITEM 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On August 14, 2014, La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company issued a press release announcing its financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2014. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1. The press release should be read in conjunction with the note regarding forward looking statements, which is included in the text of the press release.
