Block Listing Application
November 26, 2013 - Shire plc (the “Company”) (LSE: SHP, NASDAQ: SHPG) hereby notifies the market that an application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a total of 33,068,902 ordinary shares of 5p each to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List. These shares are being reserved under a block listing in connection with the Shire plc 2.75% Convertible Bonds due 2014.
When issued, these shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.
