On September 17, 2013, Edward Hurwitz notified the Board of Directors of Sunesis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Sunesis”) of his resignation as a director, effective September 18, 2013. Mr. Hurwitz’s resignation is solely for personal reasons and was not the result of any disagreement or dispute with Sunesis.
