Item 8.01 Other Events
On August 9, 2013, Nicolet Bankshares, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company has entered into an agreement with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (“FDIC”) to purchase certain assets and assume certain liabilities of the former Bank of Wausau, effective immediately. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
