Item 8.01. Other Events.
On May 28, 2013, the Board of Directors of West End Indiana Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) declared a cash dividend on the Company’s common stock of $0.06 per share. The dividend will be payable to stockholders of record as of June 12, 2013 and is expected to be paid on or about June 19, 2013.
A copy of the press release dated May 28, 2013 giving details associated with the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99 to this report.
