On April 19, 2013, American Vanguard Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that non-employee director Jerome L. Coben will not be standing for election to the Company’s board of directors at its 2013 Annual Stockholders’ Meeting. The full text of that press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
On April 22, 2013, the Company issued a press release announcing that non-employee director Esmail Zirakparvar had received a distinguished alumni award from Iowa State Universtiy. The full text of that press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
