Other Events.

On April 8, 2013, Pharmacyclics, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation for the investigational oral agent ibrutinib as monotherapy for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) patients with deletion of the short arm of chromosome 17 (deletion 17p). A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
