Multi-Color Announces New Chairman of the Board and Declares Quarterly Dividend

Cincinnati, OH — August 8, 2012 — Multi-Color Corporation (NASDAQ:LABL) announced today that Lorrence T. Kellar has resigned from his position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Multi-Color Corporation. Mr. Kellar will remain as a director on the Company’s Board of Directors.

The Company’s Board of Directors has named Robert R. Buck as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors effective August 9, 2012. Mr. Buck became a director in July 2003. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. Prior to 2003, Mr. Buck served in various leadership roles with Cintas Corporation, including President of its Uniform Rental Division and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Buck serves as a director of Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc., LVI Services, Elkay Manufacturing and Quanex Building Products Corporation. In addition, he is a former director of Kendle International and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati.

In addition, the Company announced today that its Board of Directors declared the Company’s quarterly cash dividend for the second quarter of fiscal 2013. The dividend is a payment of five cents per common share, payable September 1, 2012, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 24, 2012.
