On November 4, 2011, Charles A. Sorrentino informed the board of directors of Houston Wire & Cable Company (the “Company”) of his intention to resign as a director of the Company concurrently with his previously reported retirement as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective January 1, 2012.
