Item 8.01. Other Events.
On May 16, 2011, Thomas J. Smith, a Director and the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, and
Kevin J. Degenstein, the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, will be making a
presentation at the 2011 American Gas Association (AGA) Financial Forum, which is being held May
15-17, 2011 in Orlando, Florida. Information and materials that Mr. Smith and Mr. Degenstein will
be using in their presentation are posted on the Company’s website, www.ewst.com, and are also set
forth in Exhibit 99.1.
