On April 1, 2011, an oral presentation entitled “PSI-7977 QD with PEG/RBV: 12-week Safety, RVR, cEVR, & SVR12 in Treatment-naïve Patients with HCV GT2 or GT3” is being delivered at the Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of the Liver being held March 30, 2011 through April 3, 2011. The oral presentation relates to the study of PSI-7977, a nucleotide analog polymerase inhibitor being developed by Pharmasset, Inc. for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus infection. The slides being presented at the oral presentation are attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
