Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 25, 2011, Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) and Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PGNX) issued a press release alerting United States patients and physicians to a U.S. market recall of alcohol prep pads manufactured by the Triad Group, which are packaged for use with the kit presentation of RELISTOR® (methylnaltrexone bromide) Subcutaneous Injection in the U.S.
A copy of the press release is included in this Report as Exhibit 99.1 and the information contained therein is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by this reference.
