Item 8.01 Other Events
On December 20, 2019, Guaranty Federal Bancshares, Inc., the holding company for Guaranty Bank, announced a dividend per common share of $.15 for its fourth quarter ending December 31, 2019. The dividend will be payable on January 16, 2020 to stockholders of record on January 6, 2020. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1
