Item 8.01. Other Items.

On October 4, 2018, the board of directors (the “Board”) of FS Credit Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. (the “Company”), including a majority of the Company’s independent directors, approved certain amendments to the Company’s valuation guidelines (the “Valuation Guidelines”). The Valuation Guidelines contain a comprehensive set of methodologies to be used by FS Real Estate Advisor, LLC (the “Adviser”) in connection with estimating the values of the Company’s assets and liabilities for purposes of the Company’s net asset value (“NAV”) calculation. The purchase and repurchase price for shares of the Company’s common stock is generally based on the prior month’s NAV per share, as determined in accordance with the Valuation Guidelines. The Valuation Guidelines, as amended, provide that the Company’s commercial real estate debt and related investments will generally be valued at amortized cost unless such loans are deemed impaired.
