Item 8.01 Other Events.  

On August 8, 2018, Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing the Antimicrobials Drug Advisory Committee of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration voted in favor of the approval of intravenous and oral omadacycline for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (17-1) and community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (14-4).
