Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 1, 2018, Atlantic Capital Bank, N.A. (the “Bank”), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlantic Capital Bancshares, Inc., completed the sale of its trust business to The Banc Group, LLC. The Bank previously operated the trust business as Southeastern Trust Company, and it is expected that The Banc Group, LLC will continue to operate the trust business under the same name.
