Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 27, 2018, GAIN Capital Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release responding to recent statements issued by the European Securities and Markets Authority and the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority regarding regulatory changes in the provision of contracts for difference to retail clients.
