Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On January 15, 2018, Mr. Ralph DeVore, age 80, provided notice to Zion Oil & Gas, Inc. (“Zion” or the “Company”) of his resignation from the Board of Directors. His resignation is effective as of January 15, 2018 from both the Board of Directors and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

 

Mr. DeVore serves as President and board member of Christian Commerce Corporation, a 501(c)(3) private foundation which he founded in 1984. He wants to increase the focus of the foundation in the promotion and education of Christian principles through world-wide evangelism and devote additional time to other Christian ministry efforts.

 

With his resignation, he stated that “I pray the Lord will continue to bless you and the efforts of the company to bring the Lord’s promise to fruition.”
