Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 13, 2017, the Board of Directors of Western Refining, Inc. (“Western” or the “Company”) approved a cash dividend of $0.38 per share of common stock for the second quarter of 2017. The dividend will be paid on May 11, 2017, to shareholders of record at the close of market on April 26, 2017. On April 13, 2017, the Company issued a press release announcing this cash dividend. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
