Effective on January 2, 2017, Professor John G. McDonald, the Stanford Investors Professor of Finance in the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, retired from iStar’s board of directors.  Professor McDonald’s retirement from the iStar board had been previously announced by the company in connection with its 2016 annual meeting, and was not the result of any disagreement with the company.  Professor McDonald will remain a full-time endowed professor of finance in the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
