Item 8.01 Other Events.
On August 17, 2016, Marine Products Corporation issued a press release titled, "Marine Products Corporation Announces Tender Offer." The press release announced that the Board of Directors expects to commence a tender offer on August 26, 2016 or shortly thereafter and expire on November 1, 2016.
