Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 13, 2016, Chris A. Paul announced his intention to resign as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Blueknight Energy Partners G.P., L.L.C. (the “General Partner”), the general partner of Blueknight Energy Partners, L.P. (the “Partnership”), within the next month. There were no disagreements between Mr. Paul and the General Partner or any officer or director of the General Partner that led to Mr. Paul’s decision to resign. Mr. Paul will assist with the orderly transition of his duties and ongoing work. Mr. Paul has served as an officer for more than three years and played a vital role in the development and successful execution of the Partnership’s business strategy.
