On December 31, 2015, Vincent D. Basile retired as a director of Meridian Bancorp, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, East Boston Savings Bank, in accordance with bylaw provisions requiring retirement at December 31, 2015 in the calendar year in which a director reaches age 75.
