On August 18, 2015, WebMD Health Corp. repurchased, in a privately negotiated transaction, $143.2 million principal amount of its 2.25% Convertible Notes due 2016 at a purchase price equal to 101.00% of the principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest.
Immediately following the repurchase, a total of approximately $809 million principal amount of WebMD’s convertible notes remained outstanding (including approximately $109 million principal amount of the 2.25% Convertible Notes) and WebMD had approximately $630 million in cash and cash equivalents.
