Item 8.01. Other Events.
On July 22, 2015, Harris & Harris Group, Inc. (the "Company") noted that its portfolio company, Bridgelux, Inc., announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an investment group led by the China Electronics Corporation ("CEC") and ChongQing Linkong Development Investment Company. Bridgelux and CEC expect the acquisition to close within the next six to eight weeks, subject to customary regulatory approvals. The Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
