On June 18, 2015, A. Malachi Mixon, III informed the Board of Directors of Invacare Corporation (the “Company”) that he would be retiring from the Board of Directors of the Company effective as of June 30, 2015, to deal with recent health challenges. Mr. Mixon’s decision to retire is not the result of any disagreement with the Company.

On June 19, 2015, the Company issued a press release announcing the retirement of A. Malachi Mixon, III from the Board of Directors of the Company, a copy of which is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 7.01.
