Due to recent heavy rains and flooding in both Texas and Oklahoma and an unplanned turnaround by a mid-stream provider in the Anadarko Basin SCOOP play, Newfield Exploration Company (the “Company”) is providing clarity around its expectations for second quarter 2015 production. Specifically, despite these uncontrollable events, the Company reaffirms its original second quarter 2015 net production range (12.1 – 12.5 MMBOE), although expects production to be at the lower end of guidance. The Company’s guidance for full-year 2015 production remains unchanged.
