Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On July 21, 2014, Rex Energy Corporation issued a press release announcing internally engineered estimates of proved oil, NGL and natural gas reserves as of June 30, 2014. The release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1
On July 21, 2014, Rex Energy made available on its website an update to the “Rex Energy Corporate Presentation—July 2014.” The presentation can be accessed by going to www.rexenergy.com, selecting the “Investor Relations” tab, and then selecting the “Events & Presentations” tab. The Corporate Presentation will continue to be available until the next regular update.
