Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Carl Eggerding, currently Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, of AVX Corporation will step down as a Corporate Officer effective April 1, 2014 and retire on June 30, 2014. Effective April 1, 2014, John Lawing, currently President and Chief Operating Officer, will relinquish that title and be re-assigned as Chief Technology Officer.
In connection with this reorganization, senior global operating management previously reporting to Mr. Lawing will report directly to John S. Gilbertson, Chief Executive Officer.
