Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 27, 2014, Eco-Stim Energy Solutions, Inc. (the “Company”) announced in a notice posted to its website that it commenced an offering of its common stock in a private placement to raise between $8 million and $12 million, subject to market conditions. A copy of this notice is filed as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
