Stone Energy Corporation (“Stone”) has engaged a financial advisor to market certain of its properties in the Gulf of Mexico (“GOM”) Shelf, state waters and onshore Louisiana. Production relating to the properties represented approximately 24% of Stone’s total production in the second quarter of 2013, and estimated proved reserves relating to the properties represented approximately 12% of Stone’s total estimated proved reserves as of December 31, 2012. The potential sale of certain of Stone’s properties in the GOM Shelf, state waters and onshore Louisiana is subject to market conditions, and there is no assurance that it will be completed, in whole or in part, or by any particular time.
