Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective February 8, 2013, James T. Hau was appointed principal accounting officer of The WhiteWave Foods Company ("WhiteWave"). He has served as WhiteWave's Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since November 2012, and previously served as Vice President of Finance from January 2010 to October 2012. Mr. Hau joined WhiteWave in September 2005 as Vice President, Controller of WWF Operating Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dean Foods Company and the predecessor to WhiteWave. Prior to that he held various financial positions with Unilever PLC, a global consumer products company, over 15 years, most recently as Controller for Unilever’s North America Ice Cream Division.
