Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On October 25, 2012, StellarOne Corporation issued a press release regarding its results of operations and financial condition for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 and announcing that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend in the amount of $0.08 per share payable on November 27, 2012 to shareholders of record as of November 6, 2012. The text of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
