Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On August 8, 2011, Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Keryx”) issued a press release announcing results of operations for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011. Keryx also announced that it would host an investor conference call at 8:30am EDT on the same date during which it would provide a brief financial overview of second quarter financial results and the business outlook for the remainder of 2011. A copy of such press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
