Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 1, 2011, Harman International Industries, Incorporated (“Harman”) announced that, effective immediately, David Slump will no longer serve as President of the Harman Consumer Division. Mr. Slump has assumed a new role as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and will remain a member of the Harman Executive Committee.
