The following information is being furnished and shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section, or incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the Exchange Act, except as shall be expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.
On February 14, 2011, eGain Communications Corporation issued a revised press release announcing its results of operations and financial condition for the three month period ended December 31, 2010. This press release corrects the total cash and cash equivalents at December 31, 2010 from $12.2 million to $12.1 million and the cash provided by operations for the six months ended December 31, 2010 from $7.3 million to $7.8 million. In addition, in the consolidated balance sheet, eGain now includes short term investments of $100,000, long-term investments of $489,000 and corrects its “Other Assets” from $882,000 to $393,000. All other information included in the original filing is unchanged. A copy of the corrected revised press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.”
