On December 29, 2010, Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT, Inc. (the “Registrant”) issued a press release announcing that its registration statement on Form S-11 was declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on December 10, 2010. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein solely for purposes of this Item 7.01 disclosure.
