Item 8.01. Other Events.
On December 10, 2010, QLT Inc. issued a press release announcing that the Toronto Stock Exchange has approved its share repurchase program, originally announced on December 8, 2010. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
