(b) On July 6, 2021, Benny Sorensen, M.D., Ph.D. resigned from his position as the Senior Vice President, Strategic Projects of Codiak BioSciences, Inc. (the “Company”) to become CEO of a privately held biotech company focused on rare bleeding and thrombosis disorders. Dr. Sorensen has been appointed to the Company’s Scientific Advisory Board and will serve in a consultant role for the Company. The decision by Dr. Sorensen was not the result of any disagreement with the Company.
