Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On April 14, 2021, Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka (FHLBank) Independent Director Richard S. Masinton informed FHLBank that he will resign as an Independent Director of FHLBank, effective as of that day. Under the rules of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the Board of Directors of FHLBank is responsible for electing an individual to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Masinton’s directorship, which expires on December 31, 2021.
