Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 17, 2020, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (the “Bank”) eliminated the position of Chief Accounting Officer (“CAO”) as part of a broader Bank reorganization. The employment of Donna S. Stone, who had been serving as the Bank’s Senior Vice President and CAO and designated as the Bank’s Principal Accounting Officer, was terminated concurrently with the elimination of the CAO position.
